Bus here costs £2-50 for a mile and half bus ride

OMG, that distance I would definitely walk

I was going to say when I was in the first flush of youth I used to walk huge distances but using google maps I've just worked out the actually distances I used to walk between home and school or home and work etc and it was only a few miles
    - although this does not explain why I used to be so healthy and fit if I only walked barely four miles a day to and from :D

  • i would take the chicken back and say you were matching another shops offers and the apg system didn't pick it up. so you would like your money back to go there instead.

I think the whole lot is over now (appears to have relied on Monday's price collection and we are now on the Wednesday one).

Well done for saving yourself quite a lot of money by not getting caught up in this. Lots of failed shops were done, sadly:(.

Your having "been AWOL" this morning turns out, in the circumstances, to have been the best thing you could have done! Well done for avoiding it and welcome back!:)

    Fun while it lasted.

I really hate doing failed shops so I am glad I missed it all - well sort of of - mind you nothing we are really desperate for apart from the usual cat food and wine

MY OH is having a major paddy about the Sun voucher not being Morrisons £5 fruit and veg this week :D His weekend menus were based on the these vouchers - salad, pots for roasties with sausages, stir fry veg, melon, bananas ...:D

You just can't help yourself can you.

And if anyone wants to know what this is about, Locarr is trying to wind up people in the fb groups by the above dig. So if a load of trouble now blows up, he's to blame.

Very nice it was too, thanks for asking!:p

paste and coconut milk both 20p in sainsbobs last week!;)

Sadly another muggle-like shop, so bad it flipped to vs T. Am I really wanting 57p?

    Vs T

    [...]
    1 x Batchelors Pasta 'n' Sauce Macaroni Cheese (108g)£0.50£0.81
    1 x Swizzels Matlow Strawberry Refresher Bar£0.10N/A
    1 x Haribo Starmix£0.10£0.10
    1 x Haribo Tangfastics£0.10£0.10
    2 x Andrex Classic White Toilet Tissue Rolls - 240 She...£3.94£3.50
    1 x Wall's Mini Twister Ice Lollies (8x50ml)£1.75£2.00

M result is as is now expected...no surprises on it.

And final shop - also missed its target, comparing "best" (I use the word very loosely) vs T - no surprise, 3 Andrex and 1 Pasta did not work:(.
Of course! you could buy 5 fillers with that :D
