Just tried to mow the lawn but the mower decided not to cooperate. The motor is running but the blade is not turning, and it is direct drive so not fixable without replacing the motor, considering the state of the rest of it it is not worth it.

So now I have to find a new mower

Homebase have a 15% off sale over the weekend - a good use for some nectar points if you have a stash :D

Or try your local freecycle group although I imagine quite a few mowers have bit the dust over this summer :0

Earlier today 2 Lancasters flew over my house escorted by 2 Spitfires (I think they were Spitfires) Quite a sight to see as they were low down, going to land at army base near me

I see that GCSE results arrived today according to the news. I hope that you guys with teens waiting for said results got good grades :D

OMG, that distance I would definitely walk

I was going to say when I was in the first flush of youth I used to walk huge distances but using google maps I've just worked out the actually distances I used to walk between home and school or home and work etc and it was only a few miles
    - although this does not explain why I used to be so healthy and fit if I only walked barely four miles a day to and from :D

Last time I walked to town normal route they where doing tram lines and I got stuck didn't know which way to walk ended up in middle of workmen and they didn't know so I followed this fellow :rotfl:Luckily he was also heading to town. :D

I used to walk everywhere but the school I am at now it nearly killed me trying to walk home all uphill so well worth weekly bus pass :)

i would take the chicken back and say you were matching another shops offers and the apg system didn't pick it up. so you would like your money back to go there instead.

I don't think thats on.It would be wastage. We win some and lose some and we should take it on the chin.

And I hope people don't start bringing facebook problems over here again.

So I was sat in a coffee shop this morning and managed to get online but couldn't post  couldn't sign in even

Anyway, I was supposed to come home tonight but after seeing the yochick n pas-roll glitch I decided I'd head home after getting myself into MrA next to said coffee shop :D

Thanks to the finders, not had chance to read back on much of this , but needless to say it seems I got in just in time before it went off :D

Sorry to see some failed shops, hope you guys haven't lost too much this time round.

After the past few days of total mayhem for me, I'm pleased to be home in a way but sadly the matter that took me away hasn't been resolved and doesn't seem as though it will in a short space of time. Oh god, that sounds like I'm talking code I know but I can't as yet tell anyone :(

Right, coffee for me and a sit down before I repack my case ready for tomorrow's trip

Glad you got your shop in :)

Get your feet up and enjoy that coffee :coffee:

Hopefully things will work out in the end ((((X))))
