It's only school level stuff which usually means you can't do much more than say your name and know a load of words. I definitely can't hold a conversation with anyone in either French or German at the moment

A good way to practise foreign languages is
    http://www.busuu.com/enc/
which is basically a (free) forum of millions of foreign-language speakers (and English too), just join the forum and say something like "I'm a beginner learning German [or French or whatever]" - though I bet you are better than you think you are - and find a German or French speaker who wants to practise their English and is at a similar level to you, hopefully with similar interests to you as well ... you can practise via the forum, by email, by skype or phone, or whatever, depending on how well you get on with them - or you never know, you might end up meeting them if you go to Germany or they visit the UK. There's lots of really nice, friendly people on there. (Recently, I got invited to a wedding in Mexico because of it - as a guest, not the groom:))

Someone mentioned on the other thread about the Ristorante pizza coupons, I have printed out my £1 and £1.50 off, can I use them both together or only one at a time?
    TIA
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
