See, now I want to go!
I wonder how much a day out in London would cost for us lot
Nothing if you know where to park for free and have vouchers for free food and booze(obviously if you're not the designated driver though!).
Morning all 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
:(Brrr it's freezing here too
Had my house valued yesterday - same price as I bought it 9 years ago
so having another valuation on Thursday.
Hopefully viewing other house on Sunday as going tomorrow would be £115 on train faresWe sold stc our house back in 2007 (didn't go through with it in the end and stayed put), can't remember what it went on the market for but it sold for exactly the same as what it was valued at last month.
We'd probably have been better off actually selling it and renting somewhere for the last 7 years instead
House prices round here have gone up at least 25% since we moved in 2006. Doesn't effect us as I can't see us ever moving. Wanted to encourage the kids to think about buying, but I think the recent price increase (asking prices have gone up 10-15% this year) is going to put paid to that idea.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Thank you - there hasn't been anything worthwhile for months - I don't know why they bother continuing it if they are not going to put some decent offers in it. It had such promise when it launched.

I do agree though, on the whole, their offers have been pants since.

It felt like a winters morning waking up to the rain yet again.
All 3 cats are inside, I don't think they are well. None are eating properly - one def isn't, Ronnie is the hunger strike master and managed it for nearly 6 days last time. Treacle I know has had a mouthful and some water this morning as he drinks from the bathroom sink. Sophie is just curled up on the sofa
They don't have temps, none of them coughing or spluttering and no out of character behaviour.
So I am just monitoring them for now, the weather change makes them depressed anyway.
Twice one of them has been sick, suspect its Treacle and we had a late night change of bedding - urgh - bedroom door firmly shut now so I can keep an eye on them downstairs.
They came back from the cattery last Thursday, its a lovely clean well cared for cattery but even so it makes you wonder.
In the meantime I am going to clean the fridge out as distraction technique incase Thursday happens again - even if you say you cant fit any more in and you don't need yet more F and V you still need things like bananas and melons, potatoes and salad veg so that's £10 to start with“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
