  • Oooh, I missed that nerfy was going to the M&M shop. We went in there when we went up to the theatre. We simply could not believe what they had managed to create out of a packet of sweets! It is a lively place full of kids just like nerfy :D, must admit we came out laughing!

We didn't spend anything in there though :D

    Morning all :)

Fell asleep at the computer last night:o

Nannylala glad to hear you are feeling better :)

Nerfy have fun :) I really want to go to the m&m shop but fear I would spend far to much in there :)

We originally sold our house in 2007 and we moved in to rented and the house sale fell through and then the property market crashed so ended up renting ours out and staying in rented ourselves and ours is back up for sale now but for a few thousand less than before but the way I look at it is if we had sold it then We wouldn't have had as much equity now and the same would apply if you had moved into rented 7 years ago in would of been dead money so at least you have paid it in to your own house rather than someone else's :)

That's true, we'd have been 4 years into our mortgage in 2007 so equity would have been minimal.
We have a small chunk of equity now but it's pretty much offset against our debts.
If we'd moved we'd have had a bigger house but like you say, we'd have been paying someone else's mortgage
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
    Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Kids are getting up, better sort breakfast.
Got to sit in all day and wait for a couple of phone calls today.
Waiting for results from docs on DS1 blood tests and also waiting for the mortgage people to ring back about our credit checks.
Apparently there's some undisclosed commitments on them which is holding it all up (doesn't bode to well!) so I assume they can see the overdraft and credit card which are used but the balance was zero on both when we declared our debts.
Oh the joy of waiting in all day :(

One thing I didn't mention - it's on three floors

Might be cheaper to go and buy some M&Ms though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Good morning all..

I have a busy day today....needing to be here there and everywhere all at the same time!!!

I have t fit in an A shop and a trip to b&q...the boys are busy painting the flat and we are fast running out of paint!
Theres a man due to quote on new windows,We know the sort of price to expect and the style we want....I just hope it doesnt turn into the hard sell type call!
A few years back We had an encounter with a large window company that went on for 18 months trying to sell us them even after we had chosen someone else to fit and I dont really want to repeat the experience.
Havent seen anyone owning up to a birthday for a few days...so if its yours today and Ive missed it....Happy Birthday
hope everyone has a good day.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend
