    Sorry Z.

I met the bloke my friends were trying to set me up with the other day Stunty - it didn't go quite so well. My dread of the meeting was well founded... no, no, no!!!

Sunday, i've organised some ice skating at our town hall (the ice rinks insode the townhall itsself, its amazing), they serve mulled wine there and then out for a meal, probably a chinese banquet. the ladies on the sealed pot challenge thread think its ok! lol ;) i'm a wee bit nervous!

sounds nice Stunty and the skating should be an icebreaker though hopefully not literally! nerves are good, they mean you care enough to be worried what she thinks of you. if you weren't nervous she wouldn't be worth the effort.

So what was wrong with him? And what are you looking for?

he wasn't that braw which wouldn't matter if he had personality but he was nice but a bit dim and lacking in the razor sharp wit required for the position. I don't know what I'm looking for but probably personality over looks although obviously there has to be some attraction. also he seemed a wee bit sexist although this could just have been due to jokes from pals bloke going over his head.

Yes, he was scottish but not all scots men are sexist, he had a very traditional background though - farming type... Obviously slaves require wit, don't do pretty but dull boys! all my exs had that at least despite the fact they had very little else in common.

Thanks Stunty - I've not given up hope completely but wish my friends would give up on the fix ups!

Nope. All my friends have moved away (and I moved too). Met a couple of people on here, but even together I didn't see them a handful of times...

So I shall get myself sorted out (the house mostly) and go looking.

It's one of my New Year's resolutions.

    Along with flirting...

    Hey there pretty girl... :D
