T-Mobile unlimited data - can I stream as much radio from Tune-In Radio as I want?

Are you in the USA or UK?
T-Mobile US is not the same as the uk varient.
if you mean UK then theoretically you can. But at the end of the day it comes down to signal quality and congestion. If you don't get signal in your area then whats the point in having unlimited data.
Personally I recommend three. They are much better than T-Mobile due to their tariffs and value added features.0 -
I'm in the UK hence why the American website wasn't any use and I asked on here.
What re these tariff value and value added features? The T-Mobile tariff I saw was £30 a month with Samsung Galaxy S5, 500 minutes (won't need more than 200), unlimited texts (won't need more than 200) and crucially unlimited data. That's a lot better than Three's offer which comes in at £7 a month more.0 -
T-Mobile only use 3G and cap their speeds at 4Mbps download. T-Mobile also increase their prices every year according to inflation.
Three provide 4G, uncapped 3G speeds, 0800 numbers, Free roaming abroad in 16 countries, unlocked handset etc...
T-Mobile may be cheap but it's cheap because it's not giving you stuff that other networks provide. No point getting a Galaxy S5 if you're not going to have 4G. Especially if you want to use data a lot.0 -
Very useful advice. Thanks.0

T-Mobile may cap their data speeds at 4Mb/s but I can't say that has ever been much of an issue for me.
Using their PAYG, T-Mobile find it impossible to deliver a 48kb/s Internet radio stream reliably from my experience.
I've only ever found their data performance adequate in rural areas. During waking hours their 3G network is overloaded.0 -
Adding to ZhugeEX's post, I use Three, and stream radio using TuneIn for around 2-3 hours a day. It works perfectly and I have found very few places where the signal fails, that includes travelling through Northumberland as I link my phone to my car radio (I find normal FM coverage is quite patchy in some rural areas).
Last month I used around 1.4GB through TuneIn according to my phone usage stats.====0
