SOLVED: Evolution Banking Limited mysterious default!!!

Just checked noddle, two default credit card accounts which are with Lowell (one of which Lowells has started ccj proceedings for) are now showing as Evolution Banking Ltd. Also noticed that a previously satisfied closed account with Lowells has also mysteriously changed to Evolution Banking.
Have Lowell got a connection with Evolution? Or has the debt been passed on - in which case why has the closed account also changed to Evolution?
Or is it a mistake by Noddle?

I think noodle may have made a mistake.. It would make sence for me to have it at lowel but I'm not sure!!

Just an update: raised a dispute with Noddle stating that I don't recognize the account, they rejected this dispute; with no further information given!

My guess is that they've purchased some of Lowells portfolio, however they really should have sent out a letter advising everyone of this. :mad: :mad: :mad:

Complain again saying you will take them to the FOS.

Complain to evolution saying the same.

You are just assuming it's the Lowells debt, but it might not be and unless they can prove it should be there they must take it off.

Done - lets see what both Noddle and Evolution have to say about this.

Also, I'm still paying Lowell, but if Evolution now 'own' the account.. Who do i actually need to pay?

Ah, two hours after I send Evolution an email, they reply; stating the following:

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your email below.

Call credit, the credit reference agency, has reported your outstanding debts incorrectly as being with Evolution Banking. They have advised that the debts are in relation to a company called Lowell.

If you have any further queries in relation to this you should contact either Call Credit or Lowell. You will be able to find their contact details on their websites.

I hope so, I sent them an email but as of yet I've not heard anything back.. Would be interesting if they say something completely different to Evolution, but what Evolution are saying does make sence. Not very good for noddle though.

I do have to say though, in my email to Evolution, I didnt mention which CRA it was, my mistake!. So it would appear they are aware of this. Maybe they've had a lot of enquiries past couple of days regarding this.
