Just came across this today and it may be of interest to some people if you want to cancel more expensive services.

The menu shows you all the channels etc although you download the software to get the proper experience.
Can be watched on PC's, Macs, Android devices also Roku's although you need to set up a USA Roku account which is fairly easy to do as it's not available on Roku UK yet. I will mention that the Roku USA version does not have any UK channels on it, all USA ones. You'd want to use another way of using it if you want UK channels. I'm sure when they do a Roku UK version it will have the same channels as listed above.
You can get a USA Roku account by using a service which gives you a non UK IP address (easy to find on Google), most do free trials and are fairly easy to set up. Once you've done this do a factory reboot to your Roku & then use that account your new USA account. Once you have got your Roku USA account you can cancel the trial of the IP changer, you only need it to make the account.
Roku USA has more or less all the same things as ours the only obvious exceptions are the UK catch up TV services. If those were really important to you you could always get a NowTV box for those at £9.99.
