Re-apply for Current Account?

I recently tried to open a Standard Current Account with Co-Op and was denied. Does anyone know how long I have to wait to re-apply?
I think part of the problem came from the fact that I put my income as '0' as I've just graduated. However I have a graduate job which I start in 2 weeks so when/if I apply again I can put my salary in. This may not have been the reason for my denial but I expect it would be a factor.
Thanks in advance!

Instead of re-applying, it might be better to appeal this refusal. It should then be considered by a human who will be able to make a decision based on your future earnings. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

I've considered doing that, they sent me an email with an address I could send documents to for an appeal. But in all honesty, I'm not really sure what to send them. The email was a little vague an gave examples of what you 'could' send in, rather than what I should personally send in.0 -
I guess each person's circumstances will be different so it's difficult to be specific. Could you send them a copy of your job offer showing your future salary?I've considered doing that, they sent me an email with an address I could send documents to for an appeal. Sounds like it might be an ID verification failure?
Are you on the electoral roll at the address you put on the application? And is your existing account registered to that address?0 -
and what do your credit reference agency record look like?
Don't re-apply before you have checked and confirmed that all is as expected0 -

Are you registered on the electoral register? If so, did this address match your current account application address?:grouphug:

I use Noddle and everything looks as expected. The only other issue I can think of is I have opened a couple of current accounts in a short space of time and applied for a Tesco Credit Card, so perhaps this could be the issue?0 -
Possibly. Perhaps if you were a little older, in employment, with a salary, etc you may have passed their credit score.I use Noddle and everything looks as expected. What did you put down as your occupation?0
