Has anyone who has been a long time sky user any experience in moving over to Virgin.
I'm interested in what they found better or worse with Virgin.
ie Interface, picture quality, customer service etc
I have been offered a great deal by virgin and it appears sky are unwilling to match
Thanks in advance

The advantage is that you get an FTTC service.
I don't think even the most ardent VM fan would be making a case based on their customer service: do a forum search and you won't find many compliments paid in that respect.
The problem with VM is the Hotel California aspect: once you are on cable you will need a BT based line installing or reconnecting before you can leave, since there are no other cable providers. No free lunch, and no free laptop
