The problem is, the ethernet port on the laptop doesn't work, and I wanna transfer files as large as 1.4GB over, and the laptop only has USB 1.0 (the really slow one).0

If I want permanent access to anything I email to myself and save it on my providers network. Then I can access it from anywhere. It was very handy last winter because I was backwards and forwards across the Atlantic and did not have to take a laptop with me because I have a computer at either end. It is limited but fine for me.0
