Just gone through this exercise for my 74 year old BIL. Looked on Ebuyer, Dabs, Overclockers and Aria, bought a decent Gladiator quad core AMD-1TB HDD-8Gig RAM tower plus Win7 (don't touch Win8!!) for £320 delivered. Had to do a bit of installing myself - Win7 first - partitioned the HD at the same time - then drivers from the supplied motherboard DVD, impressed with the machine!
