Ryanair check-in desk at Alicante airport

hi wonder if anyone can help. We are taking my daughter's friend with us on holiday - her booking has been married up with ours on the Ryanair booking system.
However she has been told she cannot print out her own boarding pass and will have to do this at Alicante airport (we are flying out with Jet2).
Does anyone know if this will be where the bad-drop is offhand? We only travel hand-luggage and usually just go to security but she has cheked in luggage so hoping we can do both at same time.
The Alicante airport website says Ryanair checkin on 2nd floor but I thought there was no such thing anymore as it was all (usually) online

  • All passengers need to check-in online. Otherwise, the charge at the airport is €70.

If you leave it until the final 7 days before departure you can do it free and accept a randomly allocated seat. Or you can check-in up to 30 days before departure and pay a fee to select a seat.

The boarding pass can be downloaded on to a smart phone. Just show the screen at security, boarding etc. Alternatively, you can print it out.

The Ryanair desk at check-in is for dropping off bags.

They have traditional check in desks still. (Prior to going through security)

unfortunately not all passengers can check-in online, this is confirmed on the Ryanair website for when a child is being added to an existing booking and the reason for my request. Thanks for the info will keep a lookout when we get there

I think they mean departures upstairs, arrivals downstairs

We had this problem last week. They will print the boarding pass at the bag drop. If you ring Ryanair or use Ryanair's live chat, they will give you free pre-booked seating for the child on one of the adults on your booking.
