I don't think there will be anything very reassuring but hoping I am wrong. We do know another operation is not viable and that radiotherapy cannot be repeated on the area that has been treated last year.

DDs are being amazing and throwing themselves into sprucing up the house.

We just got back with a load of paint ready for a busy few days.
Looking for a juicer to get loads of easily digested veg and fruit into DH. Drove past a bungalow that might be suitable but doubt if our house will sell in time.

    Hugs to all.

Happy birthday Donny, your necklace sounds lovely.

Jackie hope you and your family have a great time.I went to Shanklin for a week with school when I was 10,never been back but we had a whale of a time and my best friend got sunstroke .

Well I've had my 15 mins of fame with the history project. The crew came to film me this morning - I never thought I'd experience being 'miked' up :rotfl:.There were 3 of them and they were all lovely, but after all my cleaning and tidying they decided to do the interview in the garden! They were shifting garden chairs around till they were happy with the light.I dont think the camera will get the weeds I havent pulled up or the hole Lylas been digging :D They finished off inside showing me looking at some of the war artefacts my Great Uncles had.DS1 took the hound out for a walk. When they got back she saw the boom thingy for the sound through the patio door and started barking so DS had to take her upstairs.
Apparently he saw a family in the fields looking for a dog missing since Wednesday,it has been spotted near the farm so hope they find it poor thing. He brought a poster back with him.

DGC here overnight tonight so need an easy tea, prob gammon & chips. We might take them swimming again tomorrow.
Finally heard from the solicitor re our house purchase, and although the house needs to be cleared yet,we can suggest a completion date :jThen the hard work starts, knocking walls down etc  for the renovation.Anyway enough waffle from me,love and hugs to those in need x

Oh Elona I'm so sorry. I thought you meant they were going to suggest other options next week.
I'm so glad your DDs are there lending you a hand, and I think that the juicer is a great idea. I don't know if you DH eats meat, but I used to make my mum a slow cooked oxtail broth which she enjoyed when she couldn't manage other things.
Big hugs to you both xx

Elona - My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Happy Birthday Donny, hope the sun is shining and you are having a good time.

The sun has come out here so the washing is on the line, just going to blitz the kitchen. Take care. XX

Elona - hugs and coping vibes xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
