I think you're right, and I wasn't sure what 1&1 offer, but I know quite often the features are pretty limited. I'd also do the forwarding and IMAP as you suggest.0

Just used it a minute ago when someone sent me 18 messages all the same, each 21Mb - not good for us 'country folks'!I know, but the OP doesn't even have appeared to look at his web-mail.
But, not knowing IMAP, if I delete them, don't they appear as deleted on her 'machine' too???I'd go IMAP as well while I was in there....;)
Hmm, me tooI'm still wondering why filtering isn't working within his TB come to that.

Yes, but, as she can't be bothered to check them I don't suppose it matters much.;)But, not knowing IMAP, if I delete them, don't they appear as deleted on her 'machine' too???
As a try.....in the filters rule check 'Match all of the following' as opposed to 'Match any of the following' and give it a try.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Just noticed ....
On *my* e mail account I have a filter set to not get e mail from Jim
In the bottom option on the filter settings, I have it set to 'ignore thread' (Lord knows why I chose that) and that *does* work ...
I have altered MrsB's one to this now and will see how that goes .............
