Orange PAYG no longer limit their daily data charge?
Options
Orange used to have a limit of something like a couple of pounds per day for the amount they would charge us for data, even without buying an extra.
Did they remove this? I got stung quite bad.
It also seems hard to change from the "starter" plan to racoon (the good one). And the info for the starter plan is impossible to find.
Sorry to rattle on but I would hate to have a contract with this company now.
Edit: they seem to have replaced the maximum data charge per day with a minimum!

Orange charge 65p a Mb for data on their PAYG plans (with no daily limit) - some of the plans have now been scrapped and I am not sure if they are accepting new Racoon customers. Racoon was never intended for data users as they push the Dolphin PAYG tariff which gives a data bundle for £10 a month.
Try asking in one of the EE shops or phone them as there is no longer any online service for Orange or T Mobile PAYG customers.
The best PAYG deal is with Network Three on their 321 plan - 3p a min, 2p a text and 1p per Mb of data but make sure that you have signal coverage first.0 -
I might complain or ask for money back because I can't find the rates for the Starter Plan anywhere, and that is the one that all new users get.0

I got fed up with Orange and moved to White Mobile because I could do that without unlocking my phone - the rates are not quite as good as Three, but a lot better than Orange.0
