I think a goody box is a lovely idea!

My OH's mother died almost 10 years ago so I'm going to get a photo of her and put it in a tiny frame that he can wear around his neck for the wedding.
I know he'll really appreciate something like that as he'll be totally gutted that his Mum will never get to see him get married.
I'll also accompany it with the usual letter and maybe a few bits n' bobs- mini booze and water is a good shout!

I love this idea! I've been trying to think of something as a 'proper' wedding gift - but I suspect something like this might actually be more 'him' anyway I like the idea of writing him a letter and having some goodies for him to open on the morning of. Love the idea of water bottles in the church for the boys, too. Very practical and thoughtful.
