Silly question re sim

You will lose stuff you've saved to the sim if you swap the sim, yes. You can copy/get it copied across usually, bit of a faff but has to be done. If you've got Android handsets you can save all the contacts to your Google account, then from then on they start in sync no matter which phone/sim you use in the future.0

Thanks, both. Have a non-smart phone on a std sim with Virgin, and a smart phone on a micro sim with 3.
Eventually need to swap the virgin number / sim to the smart phone ... working out the best way to do it!0
