A quick update on things.
Have made another 30p via quidco, for a grabbit offer.Birthday present for DD1.
Groceries are coming in at £100/£200 budget. I had to reign in spending on this for dribs and drabs and we are half way through the month so that is good.
Currently looking at getting best deal on household insurance, which is due in December and also may re look at other insurances-we have a decreasing life one, but pretty sure we can shave a few pounds off that. It all counts.
Last night we had a rather lush Chicken in diet coke-all cooked in the slow cooker as i was working later. It was a hit with the household.
Costings worked out at 3 chicken breasts ( Farmfoods frozen-which i had pre cooked) £1.50, can of diet coke, 25p, onion 10p, value passata,33p, spices probably about 5p. Rice 60p, stock cube 5p ( value range). Total cost was £2.93, between four of us is 73p ish. I would have honestly pay a lot to eat that in restaurant. I could add on fuel to those costings. Just goes to show we can eat well on a budget.
Off to save some more money.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I almost forgot to add that i won four tickets for a £1 to a Christmas show, which normally retails at over £20 plus per ticket, depending on where you sit.
