An agenda that seems to be continually overlooked, year after year.
Cannot believe my UNLUCK, when it comes to flight delays. Not that I venture by air more than 3 times a year, but in the last 10 years, I've been subjected to delays or cancellations, through the actions of FRENCH air traffic controllers strikes and disputes, more than 5 times!
Costly?? You bet it has been!
Uncle Martin has been quick to research and adopt procedures on how we should go for the jugular of airlines that delay or financially involve us in loss but NO mention (as yet) on how we should go about dealing with the ATC's of this world? :money:
Overall, the French Air Traffic Controllers must have cost US (the U.K. paying public,, not to mention the airlines), MILLIONS over the last 10 years, with their petty squabbles?
In fact, I have NEVER (luck must be with me somwhere along the line)
, had occasion to seek compensation from any of the airlines I have been with in this time period (not even the time when the batteries on the "Dreamliner", albeit a non EC flight, went gaga) but on reflection, the French ATC has all but cost me about a thousand pounds within this era.
So, come on Martin,,, Champion the cause,, flex your OBE,, time to research a resolve for us AND the airlines, or, is this gripe just going to be ignored, due to lack of existing avenues in the EC entente cordialle?
There's a  in it for you (not to mention the acclaim) if you can make our day! :T
