Thanks for that, I think I. Might need a little more research0

if its any statement on that sites up to date'd-ness (great word) the info regarding stansted is at least 3 years out of dateLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0

It would be illegal for Glasgow Airport to have a smoking area inside the terminal, so having flown from there recently or not is irrelevant. The law is a better guide than what some bloke said to you while you were hanging around outside the pub getting one more desperate fix.
I refer you back to the quote in Wammer's post - the law says there is no smoking inside the terminal, so can you really see the airport's owner's breaking the law just to accommodate you?0 -
I suppose an airport could have an open balcony or roof area for desperate smokers to use. This would be legal were they minded to provide it.0

Nobody's asking to smoke inside, we ALL know it's illegal, How many smoking areas do you know that are inside? :mad:0 -
Aberdeen airport have recently added a smoking area after security. It's a small outdoor area. You have to pay £1 to access it!0

I think Mcsheep has a very valid question and he /she is not being stupid. If you fly out of T1 at Manchester, they have a smoking area inside the terminal building behind the Granary restaurant. It is open onto the terminal and surrounded by metal gauze type walls and has ashtrays supplied. I have flown from Palma airport and they have 2 smoking rooms, Schipol has 2, Even Changi has smoking areas and it is illegal to chew gum there !
I feel that the more progressive airports are looking into supplying them, this would be an advantage to get smokers flying out of their airports.
Mc Sheep, good luck finding out, There were reports that Prestwick had one, but that seems to be discounted on some sites.
Just get a decent electronic cigarette system and sit on the loo and have a good drag before getting on the flight, that is what I do from LPL.0
