Virgin media broadband woes

Hi
I upgraded my tv virgin media package to a tv phone and super fast broadband package two months ago on a twelve month deal .... And boy am I regretting it.
In eight weeks, I have had at least four days where the broadband has been unusable and in most cases has taken the best part if 24hrs for the service to be restored.
My question is does anyone know how to complain effectively as when I make a report of the outages I am fobbed off with matters are now sorted and it won't happen again. Can I terminate my contract early on account of poor service not fit for purpose?
None of my virgin media neighbours report an issue and when an engineer is booked to remedy at my house, I get a subsequent text message saying the fault was at the cabinet or exchange and the engineer has been cancelled.
Many thanks for any guidance.

hi
i had same problem, dropping connection etc.just complain regularly and try to speak to uk based customer services as they only can send out engineer I think. They sent one to me and he found that contacts in local street box were damaged so he fixed it and since then no problems with connection. engineer is the only way you can be helped. apparently it was only me who had issues with connection in my area so exactly same as you!0 -
Thanks nardeeno sorry to hear of your experience but good top tip!0
