I believe it's actually fats, rather than anything else. Google for "essential oils". She was of the opinion there were some she was missing in her diet, despite getting Udo's Miracle or whatever it's called (it's a package of essential oils in the right mix).
I eat and drink full fat dairy (in moderation). I know avacados are full of healthy fats but, other than guacamole, I rarely eat it. I'm nuts and natural oils have healthy fats too... whatever the case, I don't feel I'm lacking anything as I generally look and feel healthy on whatever diet I am eating. A lot of the recipes I try tend to be designed around vegan/veggie/whole food diets so they're mindful of how much good stuff you can fit into a single meal or snack. Even their 'treats' have fruit and healthy fats in
By 'essential oils' I'm presuming you don't mean things like lavender? As you can probably tell, I eat meat so I don't worry about such things. Though if my skin becomes rough, I know I need some fish.
I expect, as a meat eater, you just other things to worry about... like constipation, chemical additives, hormone injections, GMO products (thought they exist in plenty of non-meats too), and all that fun stuff. haha. And how cute is that mog?
She totally does win everyone over! I was suckered in. Even my mum has a soft spot for her, though she won't admit it (she swears she doesn't like cats). Not "rare" - just rarer. If everyone has a copy of your book and bought it the instant it came out, then it'll have more supply and less demand than something that was less successful.
Yes, it seems strange, but that's how it goes.
Ah, I see what you mean. Well I have plenty of 'rarer' books but sometimes I wonder that them being less well known makes them unappealing. Some well known authors like Dean Koontz, Stephen King and Ian Rankin mixed in amongst a variety of lesser known from a variety of genres. If you don't believe you can ever do it, you never will.0 -
I think it just amused me as I thought noone visited the library anymore and, even if they did, it was for the computers. Proof that you obviously do visit for reading!
Not at the moment I don't, not with that HUGE debt hanging over me!

She most definitely is a big of a scruff. That picture was taken when I had her about a day. When I adopted her she was covered in hundreds of fleas, incredibly underfed, had little bald patches and looked exhausted as she barely slept properly. She looked like she was forcing herself to stay awake.
!
Sounds exactly like mine when I got her, poor thingsshe turned out to be the soppiest mog you ever saw though, even though her coat never recovered from the lack of nutrients as a kitten (hence the neighbours thinking she was destitute, not helped by the fact she would miaow pathetically at passing strangers looking for all the world like she hadn't been fed in a month, little !!!!)

No, Omega 3, Omega 6 and all that kind of thing. It's what Udo Erasmus has spent his life studying. Just a shame he has a name like a stage magician...I expect, as a meat eater, you just other things to worry about... like constipation, chemical additives, hormone injections, GMO products (thought they exist in plenty of non-meats too), and all that fun stuff. haha.
No, I buy most of my meat from a farm not far from here. The only problem is, that given it's location, the cows probably all hang around in bus shelters drinking White Lightning - like the rest of the locals...
You seem a bit upset I eat meat. She totally does win everyone over! I was suckered in. Even my mum has a soft spot for her, though she won't admit it (she swears she doesn't like cats).
Probably clawed as a child, and a bit wary ever since.Ah, I see what you mean. Well I have plenty of 'rarer' books but sometimes I wonder that them being less well known makes them unappealing. We must have got her at the right time then as her coat seems to be recovering well and she seems in relatively good health, or as much as you can expect in a week, aside from being a bit underweight. She's trying her darndest to make up for it though and has some how gone from skinny to a little pot belly! haha. I'm not even feeding her the recommended daily limit of dry food yet.
Aw, poor little mite! At least you know she is well loved and looked after, and that neighbours will keep an eye on her tooIf you don't believe you can ever do it, you never will.0 -

Ah, I see. It does sound like a magician! I suppose I should look into what foods stuffs I should add in... or supplement in some fashion. No, I buy most of my meat from a farm not far from here. LMAO. You can't blame them, surely? :PYou seem a bit upset I eat meat.
Not at all (I do eat meat sometimes). It's the food industry that upsets me in terms of the fact you can't just go in a store and buy what you want, you now have to check the ingredients or its origins if you don't want to be consuming artificial chemicals, hormones, GMOs etc etc... ridiculous.Probably clawed as a child, and a bit wary ever since.
Maybe! I think it was my dad's fault. Brain washing everyone that cats are evil and dirty. Poppy's proven in the first week she's super soft and very clean. Sure, her poop and farts stink, but doesn't everyone's? And, bonus, cats are so easy to train!Try them, and then you'll see.
I tried a bunch of sites last night but none of them seem to be interested... oh well.If you don't believe you can ever do it, you never will.0 -

You should be OK if you eat a bit of everything. It's only if you restrict your diet (because of beliefs or allergies) that you have to be careful. Not at all (I do eat meat sometimes). Yes, I know. Sweeteners are my personal bugbear. Kombucha tea is for people who want something a little more healthy - oh look - there's aspartame in it. Full-fat lemonade (premium) with enough sugar to kill a lion by diabetes at a full 40 paces away - oh look - it has sorbitol in it *as well*. Drink too much of that and you'll be glued to the toilet...Maybe! I think it was my dad's fault. Brain washing everyone that cats are evil and dirty. So what tricks have you been teaching her?(Yes I know - youtube is a bad influence)
Incidentally, take a look at this site before making any decisions on cat food. I'm not saying it's right, I'm not saying it's wrong - the decision is yours to make given your personal circumstances and beliefs."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
