Depending on the size of the bottles, I'm not sure that £5.25 for 40 empty bottles is unreasonable. They probably cost less than 5p each if mass produced.

You werent sure if it was a pricing error, how much would you have expected to pay then?

I've seen bottles on eBay for about the same price, anything from £10-£20 for that amount. The advert also stated it was a value pack of 40 bottles so it didn't seem that unreasonable. I can get bottles from a local brewery for 35p each so £5 for 40 is not beyond the realms of possibility.

New to this home brewing lark so haven't really looked into it, but I know now this was too good to be true.

Seen that they have acknowledged the error, someone has been informed that refunds will be given and customers can keep the bottle.

Also the company are going to give a sweetener for the issue to everyone who ordered, but not sure what that is yet, so fair play to the company for that!

Last time I made beer I got beer bottles from my local supermarket for free.

I just had to drink the beer that was in them.

I much prefer bottles, much more portable!

Received an email from the company, they are giving everyone a refund and allowing them to keep the bottles they have been sent. They are also offering 20% off 40 bottles, so not as good as the price but fair play to the pm for doing this.

They said it was an error in between their systems and amazon's systems.

Wish I got the 120 bottles I ordered but never mind, big thumbs up to the company for how they have sorted it and hope their feedback doesn't take a battering over it.
