hi
why on holiday last week we got a parking ticket on both of our cars.i rang them to say we were not on yellow lines, blocking exits or entrances or parked blocking excess for emergency vehicles.i was told by the bloke on the phone I had to appeal via email which I have done with plenty of pictures.its been 2 days now and I haven't replied what shall I do next?

I rang up a garage a couple of days ago and spoke to one of their service team. Told them my car wouldn't go and what was wrong with it.
The guy told me that unless I could give him some basic details, then he couldn't do anything for me.
See any parallel?0 -
the BPA CoP says they have 14 days to acknowledge and 35 days to reply to any appeal, so does 2 days fit that scenario ?0
-
so they don`t have to reply for upto 2 weeks redx is that correct?.i just thought they would reply straight away!0

no , not correct, read what I said
I said the BPA CoP gives certain timescales, doesnt mean they will follow them at all , many dont bother even acknowledging the appeal, never mind actually dealing with it within the timeframes , but the BPA rarely take any notice
plus I think you are being far too impatient
best to see what transpires, and no I wouldnt expect any of them to give an almost instant response0 -

My cryptic point in my first post was trying to say that we don't have sufficient info to advise.
How do we know it was Private land?
If so, how do we know it was BPA and not IPC?
Were these windscreen tickets or ANPR? Presumably windscreen but not definitely.
How do we know that one of the cars wasn't hired/company?
We don't even know what the offence was.
It's better to get some decent facts from OPs so we can tender the right advice.0 -
I agree, and the OP was at liberty to reply and answer those points, which he still is
I think your "cryptic post" went straight over his head
as for this PPC, there have been several posts about them recently, even though its a small PPC , so some of those questions will already be answered in other threads , I believe

it wasn`t private land we were parked on a public road.it said BPA on there ticket.it was yellow window stickers.we where not breaking any of the parking rules this is what I tried to say to there guy on the phone.if I could post pictures I would but it not let me attach them.0

if its a public road as you say (and not a private one) then llawnroc wouldnt be issuing you with any pcn,s (it would be the council) , so what PROOF do you have that its a public road and not private ?
yes its BPA and so yes its POPLA
as for pictures, thats because you are new here, but you can upload them to tinypic and put a hxxp (not http) weblink or links on here0 -
ok I`m at work now so will try to upload pics tomorrow and hopefully that will make things a little clear.0
