And rice have done everything all you lovies have said and it turns out like stodge or wall paper paste lol
so i dont want to get better rice until i can do it right or is it because i but own brand rice??

I can make white sauce,cheese sauce pepper sauce do steaks pastry make cakes an biscuites
Roast dinners enjoy doing the juices from the meat from slow cooker makes the loviest gravy yummmmmmy

shouldnt laugh not funny but when you have cake mix all over you an 2 german sheps licking you to get all the mix you have to laugh or cry

I can cook a stunning Roast dinner with yummy Roasts potatoes and yorkshire,I can make yummy Stews and dumplings But I can not make Pancakes they always stick it's the only thing Hubby can cook and he makes them yummy so I leave him to it

i can cook most things but bread is my nemesis, it always comes out like a brick.
Also i can't get flapjacks right, they never set and i end up with a box of granola.

Between hubby and I (and a few tips from my Mom) we can cook most things from scratch pretty well (though with a small baby I don't much get a chance anymore ) but I can't do toad in the hole!

I hate undercooked sausages so grill them a bit first, my batter mix is ok because I can make good yorkshires, but put the two together I end up with sausages cooked but burnt to a crisp on the top and batter which is more like scrambled egg close to the sausages & burnt & brick-like elsewhere! In future I'm just going to cook & serve thm seperately - my Toads got out of their Hole!

The only other thing I can think of at the moment is ANYTHING in the slow cooker - ok it's cooked & edible but EVERYTHING that comes out of it tastes the same - pretty much of nothing! :rotfl:

Mine's cauliflower cheese - regardless of what I do its always watery - only thing I get right is the bacon bits on top!!!

Mine is Gypsy Tart. I can never get it to set and my friend has the same problem. As my DH is the only one who likes it I just buy one occasionally.
