How to fix a turbo for £4
Comments

Talkford.com. Indepth instructions on removing the turbo cartridge to clean off the car and a faster method of drilling a small hole in the manifold opposite the turbo and spraying in oven cleaner. You then tap the hole and insert a threaded bolt to seal the hole back up.
Quicker than taking it off but you never know how well it worked and how much is left behind.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

 Wouldn't want to do that, bits of metal from drilling a hole before the turbo might damage things even more.0 -
You dont drill before the turbo. You drill after it.
If you do get swarf in the manilfold it will fall into the exhaust.
Thats what grease is for when drilling.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

The fault can be confirmed by removing the actuator-VGT arm and moving it (if it will), it should be super loose/floppy, mine was solid
