I don't think that chargerback can be bigger than the original payment.0
-
The chargeback is done against the original transaction so has to be for the original amount.0

It was not unsolicited in the legal sense, it was an error. Also contract law is not relevant to truly unsolicited goods, there can be no contract where goods have not been ordered/ requested.
OP needs to return the goods at their convenience and at the expense of the retailer.0 -

Did the wine cost over £100? If not section 75 doesn't apply0 -

The fake review was written one day after the website was registered. They must have offered super-fast delivery.
I'm wondering why people insist on using their debit cards to make orders online. Especially on websites of which they have no knowledge.
Perhaps the OP can forward the link to the review website as evidence, to Nationwide.
In addition, they should write to FastNet at abuse@fasthosts.co.uk or call them to report that the registrant is trading and worse still, not supplying the correct goods. Perhaps they can supply you with the correct contact details.

Nationwide would not do non receipt of goods on the transaction as you have received something & the chargeback rules state the merchant can correctly reject the claim with proof of delivery only not proof that they sent the right item.
The claim they will be looking at is not as described & part of this states that the goods must be returned to the merchant before the claim is made (also a minimum timeframe to wait after the goods are sent, 15 days iirc). The claim can only be done for the transaction value not the return costs but you could ask nationwide to refund these on a goodwill basis.
For a dispute you have 120 days fron the transaction or delivery date.

Dodgy.
fast hosts wouldn't get involved, it would need to be nominetDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
