I've retired now but I really wish that the most serious moan I could make about offiice life and work colleagues was "somebody nicked my monitor lead". !!!!!! OP get a life.0 -
Taking a screenshot of their screen, and then displaying it full screen, is always a good one too - they can take forever working out why any any key presses or mouse movements have no effect.
Edit: Oops I see thats already been posted above.0 -

WOW!
Maybe the OP had something really important to do first thing such as finish a report for a meeting and having to faff with the lead that had been left stressed her out or got her into trouble for missing a deadline.
And after all - this is the 'Praise, Vent & Warnings' board so posting on here is appropriate if it upset the OP sufficiently to bother to post.0 -
So important that they posted here before calling that wonderous IT department?0

My problem is a colleague here who, if you walk away from your desk without locking your desktop - even for the 30 seconds it takes you to fetch something from the printer - will jump on it and sent rude emails to people in your name. The first you hear about it is when the affronted recipient replies, usually very angry. Honestly he has the mentality of a 12 year old.
This is the only one that would seriously bother me and easiest to deal with as is a proper offence. I'd be setting them up to get caught though. Webcams and even cameras on mobiles can be useful tools .I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

You're a hilariously angry little person aren't you? Did it really wind you up that much that I took the time to vent on a vents forum? What did you expect to find in here, sunshine and rainbows?
Blimey, if this is what happens to people when they retire I'll be staying at work for as long as possible, thieving colleagues or noIf you lend someone £20 and never see them again, it was probably £20 well spent...0 -
I'm not angry at all. You're the one whingeing about a minor irritation plus it seems my suggestion that you maybe need to chill a little have wound you up even more, Watch that blood pressure.0

Blimey. It was a mildly humorous little post to start the thread. Don't you think you've got a little bit worked up over it?0 -
Well I haven't. Have you?0

You're whinging about people who whinge?
You must have retired without enough funds to allow you to occupy yourself with things you could enjoy doing.0
