I got a smart parking ticket from asda about a week ago for staying 'over free permitted time' when i paid fir 2 separate 3 hour stay tickets.

Its a fine of £40 - no its not, its a speculative invoice for £40

I have read around and most people say that its okay not to pay them, - this has been bad advice since october 2012 due to POFA 2012 in england and wales

    but my fine - INVOICE

has a box on it stating that 'Failure to respond tp this noticeay lead to civil actuon being taken to recover the charge notice charge' which scared me quite a bit. - ITS SUPPOSED TO AS ITS A THREAT

Do i still need to pay this ? - NO you do not have to pay this invoice

or can i ignore it? - no its foolish to ignore it, so you appeal it

(Or at least write a note to asda, if so, what should be in the note) - any proof of payment or use of the store with tickets, invoices, redacted bank statements

    Thanks

    see the red bits

now as you say you have appealed it already, start work on a popla appeal in notepad in case they reject your appeal

the correct appeal would have been the template letter in post #1 of the NEWBIES sticky thread written by coupon-mad, at the top of this forum

    hope that helps

Look, i joined here about 30 mins ago in the hope that ivan get some help with canceling my ticket. I know nothing about this so cut me some slack!
Please read my post - I tell you where to find a template that makes Smart cancel a month later. This is so easy, relax and read the right thread (the top one for 'Newbies to read first').
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
