LG - 42LS575T 42" LED TV picture disappears

Hi
I'm also having the same issues with my LG LS575T model. The screen goes black after a few minutes of working just fine. The sound and remote functions still work and shining a flashlight on the screen reveals the images but very faintly.
Did you manage to resolve your issue, any advice?
Thanks
Ours has been getting worse, and now lasts about 30 seconds before the screen goes blank. I have tried replacing the LED Driver Board as that was recommended elsewhere but that hasn't made any difference. The TV is 3 years old (Currys Oct 2012) so I'm not holding out much hope of Curry's or LG doing much. Have you got anywhere?0 -
My as well chip in my 2p.
My 3 year old LG started doing something like that with the previous 2 updates.
When I was watching HD channels for over 30 mins every so often the screen would blank out and the audio would keep going for a second before stopping. 10 seconds later I could turn the TV off and on again and it would be fine.
Only ever happened with HD channels. Thinking it was more a software issue with the HD decoder crashing rather than a physical fault.
The last firmware update seemed to have fixed it.Laters

Thanks - I'll try a manual firmware update to see if that changes anything, but ours was doing it on SD TV channels and the HDMI input so it's not just HD channels affected. The sound keeps going and it's just the picture which disappears.0
