New deal with Sky

In June 2013 I rang Sky to complain about the lack of deals for existing customers and that I had been with them for approx. 14 years and couldn't the use on demand services because I hadn't got an HD box.
I eventually got a deal out of them which included the HD pack.
The HD finished in Feb/March this year.
My new 12 month contract came to an end in June this year and my went up from £47 and something pence to £54 because the deal last year included a 10% which meant with the new increases my monthly subs would now be £57.50


Today I rang to cancel Sky due to the increased subs and they eventually offered me 6 month half price offer and was told to ring up after 6 months and they would probably offer my another deal as I would be required to start a new contract.
If I didn't want to start another contract the best they could offer me was 20% off for 8 months


I accepted the 50% for 6 months deal so lets see if they can make a mess of this one for me.
I also took the HD pack for £5.75 per month
