Removal and storage costs

Options
Has anyone had any recent experience of these? My 2 bedroom cottage is going on the market and am trying to get a ball park estimate. I will get quotes of course. Just trying to get an idea of what is reasonable.

It's a while since I used this company for removal and storage and they've grown since then. They were very competitive at the time.

I used a local company for removals and am currently storing with Lok n Store. The removals to storage cost £280 and I get a 10% discount when I eventually remove from storage.
Lok n Store costs approx £250 per month with insurance and VAT. I got a deal initially where I got 8 weeks for the price of 4 so do look out for this kind of offer.
I was moving half my goods from a 4 bed house (relationship split) so roughly the equivalent of a 2 bed house.
  • There are many moving companies which deal with removal or relocation and storage services both. So by hiring a reliable moving company everyone can move their stuff with care and security. Only you need to type in google.com about your search term like you need shifting services in Nagpur city then search packers and movers in Nagpur and then you will find many options for your removal need.

Agree (and wish I'd seen this earlier) - we've just had a shockingly bad experience with Armishaws. A weird combination of extremely obnoxious rudeness and total and utter incompetence. I can't believe they are still in business with all the 1* reviews I've tracked down online. There's one more now.

    We are in Glasgow

Might be good value but too bad we had to use them twice within 6 months! We moved into our rental in January and move into our new home in 11 days!!!
  • We're near Reading and no quotes under £1,000.00, moving 3 bed house 6 miles. :(
