it amazes me how so many people have 2 or 3 freezers jammed with meat yet want more , how do they have the money if they spend most of there time on here or going to morrisons via the newsagents to stock up on cheap meat and free fruit and veg

Retired and worked bloody hard for it.

Errr, because we are money savers, and getting a fiver off meat products, and fruit and veg for free is just the sort of thing we like.

My freezers are all full from the last time. But I'll definitely find some room somewhere if those magical little vouchers are on again this week. I'll save space by binning the original packaging and wrapping stuff up in cling film or tinfoil and labelling it.

Now go be miserable somewhere else. Maybe Igetannoyedbypeoplesavingmoney.com is more your thing. ;)

My local Morrisons have confirmed that there will be a £5 off meat in tomorows Sun, but could not confirm the minimum spend, speculate that it will same as last time £10, but don't really know.

No wonder our local paper shop runs out of papers if you multibuy

Who spends most of their time on here. Nothing wrong with picking up a bargain. Going to the newsagents hardly takes much time, around 5 minutes in the car to pick up a few copies. I work, so have spare cash to spend love. :rotfl:

Plenty of shops sell the sun.
  • Did the last offer include cooked meats such as ham, salami and corned beef? Also, what about bacon? Thanks

Yes, I bought bacon last time and I saw other people buying cooked meats, even though I didn't buy any myself, so I assume you can.

No, it specifically excluded products where meat was only a part of the product.

However, the staff didn't seem to care what you bought and I had no trouble buying £10 worth of sausages twice.

Once when the lady had trouble and the till wouldn't accept the coupon the supervisor came. She pointed at the screen and said "There, it asks you to check the customer bought the correct products, just press yes". So the assistants do get prompted to check, but none of the ones that served me ever did.

I think if they remember scanning some sort of meat product they are happy to scan the voucher.
  • good thank you I better get up early tomorrow, last time it worked with the usual 3 for 10 goods so we just got some meat ( casserole or mince) some sausages and some lovely fish.
    numnum.
    xx
