Yeah, seems to have a bit of everything and nothing too complicated. Which is good as it leaves me lots of time to stress about sitting P05 in October.

In terms of money saving the LM1 and 2 package is a good one to start on as it's £297 for non-members and £294 for members. So good one to try before committing if don't have funding from work. And you get the Award in London markets, so good for your CV. If and when you do pay for membership the annual subscription is allowable for tax relief

Do people actually work for companies that don't pay for the exams/memberships?

im not looking forward to doing dip cii... ive just seen the breakdown and its all case studies with essay type writing!!

But providing you do the coursework, read and understand the topics thoroughly and do extra reading, it's not difficult! The key to passing all of the CII exams is proper preparation! The phrase " failure to prepare, prepare to fail" springs to mind!

so basically, when you go onto the dip cii, you cant do the coursework as and when you feel like it? the same with exams? it can only be done either in the month of april and the month of october...?


Thats pretty rubbish then...

When I did it you didnt have to do CE - it just gave you an additional 10% in the exam. You could submit them at anytime with a deadline before the actual exam, which was I think a month or so.
