Sorry If I am being thick but I am on 02 pay as you go go go as a pretty new customer.

I am told if I top up by £10 I can have free texts, free time and 500mgs.

Texts, fine. Calls, fine. How do I activate the free internet time. I just keep getting 'you are not connected to the internet'

GT I9003 Model number for Galaxy

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Are you really getting free minutes and texts?
After being bombarded by their texts, once I had a look and found this very confusing, not to say misleading:
Remember to top up each month – we'll then exchange the credit for your chosen Big Bundle.
    ...
    Big Bundles
Monthly cost Minutes Texts Data 3G/4G Plus you get…
    £10 100 1000 500MB 3G Free: Priority and O2 Wifi
For some other sims they do seem to give free unlimited texts + 50Mb

My texts are free, and calls too, I keep checking the balance but I don't know how to get the free
mgs, which is why I bought the phone, to take away on holiday with me.

    Which sim was it? http://www.o2.co.uk/tariffs/payandgo
Is my understanding correct that you keep topping up with £10 and getting free calls and text while your balance remains untouched and keeps growing?

Is the phone from O2? If not you may have to enter the setting for their internet service...

Yeah, sounds like you don't have the correct internet settings for the phone.

    This should solve it

Could be a first (geeksquad solving something without charging)!
Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!

The Android one, making sure you use any of the specific PAYG settings in place of the pay monthly ones.
