Cancelling contract one month before it ends

You will have to give them 30 days notice in any case, so if you give them the notice 30 days before your contract reaches its minimum term then you will not be charged a termination fee. You will only pay the line rental and calls/texts/data that you use as normal.
If you give notice and the 30 days is before the end of the minimum term you will be charged the remainder of the term and calls/texts/data0 -
If you request a PAC from T-mobile on the day month 24 starts (as I did recently), they will add an early termination fee, even if by the date the bill is produced, they know you have not used the PAC & your contract has ran the 24 months - you have to contact them to get it fixed. If you then get a PAC & use it soon so that it does not expire, they will charge an early termination fee up to 30 days after you request the new PAC (even outside the minimum term). Some say you can challenge this, but I did not.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0
