If you only got the ticket yesterday you have loads of time.

I read that I can wait for the NTK then make an appeal. Is this correct? yes
Or should I get appealing now using the template as suggested? no wait for NTK

Why worry about paying reduction, when you will have to pay nothing if you follow advice?

Now go and do what needs doing, you have a month or so before the NTK arrives!

OK - seems we can have a dialogue rather than us auditioning for Todd's family slave.. :rotfl:

Please look at the flow diagram here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=65106611&postcount=12

    This keeps it simple.

We can help with the wording on appeals

Can you give us a few details such as

Contravention? (what was he ticketed for. If overstay, how much?
    Free car park?
    Date?
    Windscreen ticket?
Was it a camera? If so, has he received any letter?
Is it his car or a company/hire one?

It helps with the appeal. The more info the better.

My brother reviewed a parking fine from the above company at cineworld sheffield.

Really? Which court issued the fine? What crime did he commit? Was he cautioned before being arrested, and did he get legal representation?

    No, he didn't. Because...

ITS NOT A FINE!!!!!

OK. NtK will come to father and reply should be in his name.

Read the Newbies thread re the soft appeal. That will be rejected and the aim of that is to get a POPLA code.

Or, father can name your brother as the driver and by giving the PPC the correct name and address it passes the responsibility on to him and he will await a letter to driver.

Its a simple process, althogh i would suggest that you point your brother at this message board.
Wait for letter from Parking company
Send off appeal/challenge, optional recommended extra complain to land owner/car park owner telling them that they should cancel the unlawful charge.
    Research and read up
    get rejection letter
challenge it at POPLA using information in the sticky
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

Why parked in a disabled bay? Was he or a passenger disabled?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

He couldn't find a space so he parked in a disabled spot so as to not miss his showing.
