my visa debit card says reward current account. i also got my £100 for switching, you don't need to have dd to get £100 for switching0

I think the point being made is that they reserve the right to downgrade the account if you don't have 2 DD mandates set up on the account. Note this condition is not the same as the one requiring DDs to pay out for the £5 Reward.moneysavinggirl40 wrote: »my visa debit card says reward current account

It sounds as if you might not fully understand the terms of the switching offer. Existing customers can switch into an existing account, and they will receive the switching bonus if they had not received a switching bonus since Jan 2012. Whether or not you had any bonus offer before Jan 2012 isn't relevant.
It is also irrelevant whether you have more than the now allowed maximum number of accounts from prior years.
The switching offer does not enable people to apply for additional Reward accounts if they already have 1 sole, or 1 sole and 1 joint, account.0 -

I genuinely forgot you shouldn't have more than one anymore.YorkshireBoy wrote: »Thanks! I can resist anything but temptation, so I really shouldn't risk an application for a 5th and jeopardise the £240 a year I've been enjoying since October 2009.

There is a massive difference between having more than one for historic reasons and applying for an additional one now.0
