Oven heating element changed. Too many connectors an issue?

Options
Dear forum users,

I have recently changed the heating element in my main oven as the old one was not working. The new one is connected and having tested it the oven is now working again. YAY! However, I just have a little worry that I wanted to check:

Basically, the old heating element that was already in the oven had only one metal exit at each of the connections (where the heating element gets connected to the wiring in the oven). So all the wiring fitted in perfectly. 3 wires into 3 connections in the element. The new element I purcashed and fitted has two metal exits at each of the connections. So once all the wiring is attached on the new one there are two metal exits on each of the sides that are uncovered and unconnected. I am worried if this is a fire risk? I think not, however as I have little electric knowledge wanted to check here.

The model is: AKP951 WH

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks.
