What I don't understand is how the DVLA can accept this as a legitimate independent appeal system.

None of us understands how the corruption at DVLA is condoned at the Department for Transport.

Nor can any of us understand how it took the DVLA nearly nine months to decide that the IPC's original appeal mechanism and its requirement for disclosure of driver details was acceptable even though it completely circumvented the protection provided by POFA.

The DVLA is a closed book. For some reason.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

As an update, it looks like the IPC vermin is reading this
One Parking Ltd (Trading as Capital 2 Coast Parking Management)

And to think the IPC achieved ATA status on 25th June 2014. Does that mean all IPC member DVLA requests were paper form before that date? (Don't companies need to be members of an ATA to be able to get electronic access?)

Had cause to pass through Knutsford last Sunday so out of curiousity I stopped off to take a look at Red Cow Yard.

It's a little lane down behind a pub/restaurant which is now called the Old Sessions House (but which used to be The Red Cow). There are a number of small businesses in what were probably once the pub's outbuildings.

Gladstones is easily visible as pic below (and similar pics if you google them) shows

Couldn't find any signage for the IPC or the IAS at all but I'm presuming it's the door labelled Unit 4 in this pic

which is tagged onto the left hand side towards the rear of the same building Gladstones occupy. What a surprise....not!

Oh and guess who manages the parking spaces? :)

Couldn't find a sign for their offices either though

Well that smashes my idea of a huge office somewhere central to a city with lots of bods working long hours to deal with appeals. I wonder how many people can physically work in the office space? Might I suggest 2?
