Nmlc - There are lots of flash flooding at the moment. Hope you have dried out a bit and manage to get away.

I have had a very nice day. DH went off to watch his team play away today. I took DS2 to work then went for a nose around the charity and vintage shops in Rochester. Then I couldn't resist popping into Matalan.

This afternoon I got the sewing machine out and shortened a maxi dress and made a bag out of the leftover fabric.

Housework done, groceries put away, men fed and ive just put the Grandbaby to bed.




Time for me now.

SailorSam, you really ought to have got checked out you know. The wound would heal but the sickness would have concerned me.

No floods here thankfully but we do get the worst of the winds. Hurrican Bertha is supposed to hit the UK tomorrow.

Time to batten down the hatches for all you on the south coast.
