It doesnt seem to use any language suggesting Breach or failure to comply.
The North West Parking Enforcement website certainly uses language to suggest that the ticket was issued for a breach. For example:
"If an offending vehicle is located on your premises a Parking Charge Notice will be issued and attached to the front windscreen of the vehicle and photographic evidence will be taken"
"Our warning signs are highly visible to ensure that there is a clear deterrent in all enforcement areas"
"You will find that our service is effective and efficient way to stop unauthorised vehicles parking on your land".0 -

That's useful for an IAS appeal too - thanks for posting - but the signs are the important thing.
Are you from a rival PPC then? You are very quick to post here on this thread as your first post, almost as if you got an alert of a forum posting of this firm's name... Or maybe you are from this PPC and know that the IAS decisions are...shall we say...sometimes rather strange now? And you want posters here to read about an IAS loss?PRIVATE 'PCN'? Aah the plot thickens!
Many thanks for the photo offer Northlakes, much appreciated.
I was going off the wording of the ticket itself which doesn't mention any sort of breach except when looking at the appeals part. Not sure if you would normally expect to see this wording elsewhere?0 -
Forgot to add, unfortunately I work for a FTSE 250 company and the car is through Lex, so the chance of me getting the NtK I would imagine are virtually nil.0

Hmmmm I would wait to see the photos then if not much to go on, personally I wold consider the PTA for £16, job done. We have seen some IAS appeals fail, much will depend on the signs so let's see what Northlakes can show us.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Still reading this late at night having just registered? We can see you are here even when you don't post! Interesting approach for a newbie.Edna_Basher wrote: »The North West Parking Enforcement website certainly uses language to suggest that the ticket was issued for a breach. For example:

Nothing sinister about my post C-M / SRM. I'm certainly not from a PPC and having successfully killed off 2 fake PCNs (as RK of a car driven by son no.1) I'm very much in the anti-PPC camp.
Although I've been a member on Pepipoo for some time, I've followed the MSE forum without joining as a member (until now). This interesting case (relating to a new IPC outfit as opposed to bread and butter Parking Eye cases) caught my eye enough to prompt me to join this forum too.
Out of interest, North West Parking Enforcement's website includes an example picture of their signage.
northwestparkingenforcementcarlisle.co.uk/signage (I can't post the full link because I'm a Newbie)
The sign on the website attempts to dress a breach up as a contractual agreement. However, it indicates that parking is for permit holders only stating that "parking shall be for no longer than the period for which the permit is valid". By definition, parking without a valid permit is not permitted and so cannot be subject to a contractual agreement.
Hopefully the actual signs in the car park in Carlisle will be similar.0 -
Yep good point and welcome to MSE, pepipoo poster! Sorry I thought you had other reasons to pop up here and stay here!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

We all want our town's and city's to be vibrant. However PPC's are the scourge which will prevent this happening, if not tackled.
They discourage visits to town centres and retail parks. PPC's work on the principle that that no one wants to go to court and most people will give in before going that far. We need to be pro-active and stop our customers being unfairly treated. Cars bring customers to our business's and without customers we are dead in the water.
Supermarkets and some other retailers have been stupid in falling for the PPC sales talk. Look at the Morrisons footfall figures. It's like a ski slope, all downhill! Like many others they have been miss-sold a product!
For me that's the driver to challenge wrongly issued PCN's.
PPC's are bad for business and bad for any town or city if they wrongly and unfairly pursue my potential customers.
I'm a retailer and want to encourage custom!REVENGE IS A DISH BETTER SERVED COLD0
