  • Yay its Friday, thank goodness 2 more weeks of entertaining DS on the cheap then I can really knuckle down, I just showed hubby my plan for clearing the card he just cant understand how we can actually manage to pay it off on a month without starving, and when you sit and think we are always always in the overdraft of week 3 after payday so if we can manage to clear £727 in a month we can actually shift the rest and live without cards and overdraft what the hell are we wasting our money on?? Ok we aren't paying school dinners but he only ever had 2 a week and we aren't spending so much on groceries but have't really cut down on a lot else... we hardly ever go out as we are always skint, we don't spend loads on clothes, ...

Rest of debts are £1,100 on barclays c/c, £900 odd on argos card lots isnt ours tho, £89 curvissa, £28.92 very..

Very will be cleared before end of month as payment date is 28th aug.
Curvissa is used lil and often but is only £150 credit limit and I will keep it that way too. September I think I will pay minimum off both Argos and B/C but chip away at barclaycard through the month aiming to clear half off at least, rest can be cleared in October then use Nov+Dec to sort Argos card off what doesn't get cleared we will finish out of December pay ... I have a chance of a lot of Overtime through September so will put all that towards paying park hampers to get that sorted.

House is empty apart from me and I have really jittery want to eat crap night before weigh ins so doing my best to occupy myself with drinking loads and housework ... work 4-8 then take the dog for a nice long walk I think..

Today is a NSD YAY NUMBER 4
Spending diary update from yesterday £25.68:D

Considering DS has been back and forth playschemes etc I am really pleased with it its just a case of keeping this up now ...

    DAY 7/100:money:
    Aug NSD 11/12.Sept 2/15£71.53/£150Sept £5 a day.
  • O a NSD on a Saturday yes please !!!

Calorie counting is working for me yay !! I lost 6lb this morning and am now the lowest weight I have been since last September so a huge step forward, Hubby marked me in the book and didn't cost me a penny :D so onward and downward on that front..

Money wise things are looking fab we are just about still in the black in the bank got 2 more bills to come out this month but we will make a huge dent in the -£500 overdraft of last month.

Creation pot is as follows we need £392 to clear the bill completely
    Friday 22nd- £60:T
    Saturday 23rd-£10:T
    Friday 29th-£80:T
    Saturday 30th-£10:T
    vibeplate £60:T
Ands pay £162 all cleared including any interest.:T

Another 13 days of boring saving every penny tho:(

Sooner it's paid off the better..

You're doing really well shrinking the debt and weight so soon into your challenge. Brilliant!

  • Monday morning !! Say no more.

Yesterday turned into A NSD too so not a penny spent all weekend yay :T.. This brings my total spend for the week too £25.68broken down further £10 was for a giant lava lamp I am putting away for DS for xmas, £8.28 was for bits in the co-op so wasn't really a lot spent elsewhere ...

Diet is going well MFP is amazing and the choice of having anything within reason is fab !! No more opening and closing fridge no more feeling guilty so far at least, It is also nice not to have to spend a fortune going to group and buying separate foods for me from the family... O to have a cream cracker with feta cheese on and a vodka last night was bliss lol

The non-spending is still so hard no I am desperately in need of a steam cleaner for my floors is what I have been thinking all weekend I have researched it I have price compared it I have even read reviews it is the one I NEED but at £80 will it really change my life will my life be enriched lol nah its just another want --- so get over it Karen !!!

DS is really bored now I can see the next 2 weeks being a fighting ground I don't want to be a meany but I just don't want to go wandering on a bus spending a fortune we have promised him a day out Thursday of his choice as we have done the last month he chooses what he wants to do once a week .. I will take him for a walk if weather holds out if not it will be half playing half tidying his bedroom I think...

So things to do this week

Get bank statements and dockets into council.
    Clear the room of doom.
List the Ben 10 bits on facebook he don't want.
List the action men on facebook he don't want
Sell the bunk beds or collapse them and put them up the attic.
Collapse the desk thats in my hallway and get that taken upstairs as its gathering junk now.
    Do a mealplan.
Do a christmas food list to start picking up weekly with shopping.
Take the cd's upstairs and hundreds of dvd's.
Sort the landing out as it is a hotspot for junk...
so Selling de-cluttering is the aim this week.

Inspired by you I've started my own 100 day challenge which starts today and ends on 25 November. I've broken it down into 10 chunks of 10 days to try and make it easier for me. By the end of the challenge I intend to be debt free and 10lbs lighter (which will get me back at my WW goal weight). I'm going to keep reading your diary for encouragement. I did the 1 debt vs 100 days challenge a couple of years ago and it was successful so here's hoping. Re the steam cleaner, I've got one (Morphy Richards) not over-impressed, I still end up mopping as I like the fresh smell which the steam cleaner doesn't provide. It's not that powerful either when using the small attachment. Make sure you research it first to get the best one. Other people I know rave about theirs so I'm a bit disappointed. There is a Vax one advertised at the moment that looks good but I can't justify buying another one yet as I don't feel I've got my money's worth out of mine yet.

THE ANSWER IS A BIG FAT YES CANCEL THE ORDER KAREN !!!
