Vodaphone Overcharging and Neglecting Contract

Options
Hi,

This is my first time posting on here and was hoping someone could help me out as contacting Vodaphone has been less than fruitful. I recently switched to Vodaphone in march, since then all I have had are issues.

1) I am supposed to be receiving a 20% corporate discount but it still hasn't been applied. When I called I was told I would be given a credit and it would be applied. That was a month ago and I still haven't received it. I took the plan out and priced it based on this discount.

2) When signing up I noticed online they were providing 5 gb of data while in store it was only 4 with my plan. I queried this and they wrote in the agreement this should be 5GB. I since have been charged for using anything over 4GB. I can't get anyone to acknowledge this and the people in the store just tell me I need to call.

3) When I get unwanted soliciting texts and text back stop, I get charged even though there is no mention that I will in the text receieved from the company. Is this normal?

4) I always have unaccounted for charges. While my bill shows the majority of over charges, it never accounts for the full amount. Does anyone else have this?

5) While traveling in the USA I was charged 5 quid per MB since I am on pay monthly. Pay as you go get 25mb for the same price. Why would I be penalized for being a more loyal customer by having to pay more? This is absurd and ridiculously high data charges.

Between the first two points, I am being charged more than I had agreed to pay and vodaphone is not providing the services they agreed. As I right to say they are breaching our agreement?

Corporate 20% off needs to be done within the first month of connection- you could have lots of bother trying to get that back dated to march! Their customer service seem to be a bunch of clowns!

    1) Have you provided proof that you are entitled to corporate discount?

    2) What were you sold when you took the contract out?

    3) Vodafone do not control the texts, or their content, you receive. There are rogue companies out there sending unsolicited premium rate messages. I think Vodafone can restrict premium rate services for you (or you can do it via 'My Vodafone')

    4) You will need to get your bills together and go through them and do the maths, and if it still doesn't add up contact Vodafone

    5) PAYG customers sometimes get better rates on things because they are under no obligation to stay with Vodafone. Seems a little unfair for us pay monthly customers, but it makes business sense

I think Vodafone has a branding problem. It's been around in various forms since 1991 and still gets people calling it Vodaphone. Its publicists must despair.
