He sounds like every man I have ever met. My brain tells me that there must be nice men out there, but I'm darned if I've found any.:snow_grin"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow........":snow_grin0

don't give up hope! (am sure there are loads of men thinking exactly the same about us women)nothing to see here, move along...0 -
Thank you everyone. He is a complete b*stard, and i'm probably just annoyed with myself for falling for it. The signs were obviously there, so i guess i just thought i was different!
But there's still this little part of me that thinks there must have been something wrong with me, even though i know that's not rational...
I'll just have to work on my bruised ego, and get over it.

Sadgirl you just need a little time to get over the hurt and in a couple of weeks you will be wondering what you ever saw in him. Thank goodness for "healing" time.
I have had my ego bruised on many an occasion and you just want to do something to ease it, whether it be throw a drink in his face or hide a prawn in his desk right at the very back. (hmm now there's a thought)Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I worked with a bloke like this, he was my supervisor in the office. I was seeing him for a few weeks and we'd go out and have fun... but in the office we'd !!!!! with each other.. he'd always pick on me, make me take MY handbag off the desk, whereas everyone else was allowed... moaning at me about every little thing and in the end I told the Op manager.
One day it got so bad between us, he actually shouted 'F****ff* to me across the room with about 30 people in it. Needless to say, that lovely promotion went to another Colleague and he ended up on a Secondment in the other part of the building.
Guys like this always end up flat on their faces.0 -
Like moths to a flame, women do seem incapable of resisiting the allure of the 'male bar steward' even when they know (if they are honest with themselves) the inevitable consequences.'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it....for much longer!'0

If I was you I wouldn't go out drinking, I would have a facial and go to bed early and get up with that 'glowing' look. Waltz into work whistling and smiling quietly to yourself. Have flowers delivered to your desk. Rush out at lunchtime for an 'appointment' (coy smile). Show him how little you care

I feel you :grouphug:
I'm a visitor to this particular board, so I hope I'm not being out of place.
My boyfriend (of almost five years and to whom I have a 16mo daughter) soon became my X when I found out he had been sniffing around the 19yo(just recently turned 19yo and he is almost 26) barmaid in his local, and of course she had been reciprocating. I saw the texts, some got sent to my phone by accident . The stupid little man. I hate him. He wants to get back together, but no chance. Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hijack your thread
My point that I was going to try and make is don't let him see that he has hurt you. And as was mentioned before, the best revenge is success.
You keep your chin up... He obviously wasn't worth it and he isn't worth your feeling down.
