The simple fact that from atleast 2months in we have been given false hopes. We was told there was no onward chain, then they was moving in with family then they was having to purchase a property. Then once they found there house they was purchasing they asked us to confirm the date of May 30th, so we did then they pulled away saying they had more enquiries to do. We have been asked on at least 6 occasions if a certain date was ok to exchange, and we have agreed every time then for them to turn around and say oh sorry there one more enquiry etc. It is just not acceptable.
Somebody is lying and given false information.0 -
You offered on a house that was under offer and the owners reneged on the original buyers and sold to you. Surely that would have alerted you to the kind of people you were dealing with, someone who had no intention of ever keeping to their word.0

Surely if it was under offer, as opposed to sold subject to contract, the original offer was never accepted and so the owners couldn't have reneged on the original buyers.0 -
What do you think is the difference between those two positions?BeansOnToast wrote: »Surely if it was under offer, as opposed to sold subject to contract
