HELP! getting married in 23months need a NISA account

We are getting married in july 2016 approx 23months away, we need a NISA account with good interest rate in which we can withdraw any amount at anytime to pay suppliers for the wedding. We will be putting in approx 600-800 a month into this account. I have no idea where to start and obviously want to get the benefits from the account too..... Please help!! Thanks in advance :)

Why do you want an ISA?

I can't see any reason why you would need an ISA at all. Can you explain your reasoning?

Try current accounts - the interest is better! See TSB Classic Plus, Nationwide FlexDirect, BOS Classic Vantage, etc

    £700 x 23 = £16,100. Are you mad? Why such extravagance?
Free the dunston one next time too.

    you and me both, sister!

Doesn't mean it will happen though.
  • We are farmers and half the family is coming over from ireland so 150 day guests and for the meal and 250 all in for evening. Its a lot of money so starting to save as much as possible. I have managed to find "first direct" account with 6% interest, need to read the finer details tomorrow. But will also look into the accounts suggested too. Thanks to those who have given me suggestions. Appreciate it.

The trouble with the First Direct Reg Saver is that you can't make withdrawals. So whilst it is the best rate for putting away £300 each every month, any withdrawal will close the account and you'll get paid interest at their standard rate for the time you had the money there.

There's always a catch to a good interest rate!

Not for me there isn't! I have a pot of savings in Santander 123 at 3%, from which I transfer £300 every month into FD. That way I'm not actually saving any new money, but earning a higher rate of interest on a portion of my savings. Works out at 4.58% for the £3600 over the year :).
  • The 123 account sounds good! Can you make withdrawals of any amout at any time? Is this a current or savings account and do i need to leave RBS in order to ser up with santander 123 account?
