The biggest thing that stands out to me is the Labour hourly rate - ask why this has changed retrospectively.

And sourcing materials... Chargeable? Isn't that just a cost of doing business? Like Starbucks saying £2 for your coffee, oh and another 20p for us sending our baristas to Africa to source the beans you've got in your coffee.
wouldn't sourcing materials be in the same category as say diesel for his van - wouldn't expect him to turn round and say you owe for transportation/travel to your house, it's a cost you'd expect him to consider when tendering for work at your said location.
  • The work did change after problems were found. I'm not denying that and know I have to pay him for that time (all £2,350 for 2.5 days work!) which I have paid already. It's the mucking around with the invoices retrospectively to get even more money out of me by adding on sourcing material time that I'm hacked off with - at such a ludicrous rate that was WAY beyond the original pro ratad hourly rate agreed on his first estimate/contract/invoice. But it's been quiet for 24hrs since I sent him the email confirming my concerns. I'm just really hoping I can get on now with finding a plumber that isn't going to do this again so I can live in my home again...
